Rugby-World-Cup, Sports Betting, The Rugby World Cup is the premier international union competition. It is held every four years, with 20 nations making it through to compete for the final and win the Webb Ellis Cup.

It has two stages a group and a knock-out; initially nations are divided into four pools with five nations in each pool.  Nations play all teams in their allocated pool and all receive points based on the outcome of each match. The two nations with the most points in each pool are put through to the knock-out quarter-finals. The winners of the four quarter-finals then go through to the semifinals, leading up to the final.

This started the trend of the Southern Hemisphere generally dominating the Rugby World Cup. In the the next 1991 game, hosted in England, Australia became the winners with a 12-6 victory against the host country.

In 1995 South Africa hosted, entered and won the 1995 games. Then, in the 1999 rugby game Australia won for a second time. In the 2003 cup, England broke the Southern Hemisphere’s winning streak by defeating Australia in extra time.  South Africa were the defending champions winning in 2007, reigniting the Southern Hemispheres dominance over the game, the 2011 World Cup saw them lose their title to New Zealand; who defeated France in the final.

Australia currently have the best winning margin and the most tries in a single match with their match against Namibia in the 2003 match, winning 142-0.
